Polop de la Marina is a mountain village ten minutes inland from Benidorm, built around a castle hill and known across the region for its fountain wall with 221 spouts. The modern villas of Polop Hills sit on the slopes above, with views over the valley to the sea.
Property in Polop
Polop offers something the coast cannot: silence and altitude, without isolation. The beaches of Benidorm are 8–10 km away — close enough for an afternoon, far enough that summer nights stay cool and the streets belong to residents. The old village keeps its weekly market, its church on the hill and a handful of restaurants that locals actually use.
Almost everything we list here is detached villas, from €470,000 to €1.29 million, typically three or four bedrooms with a private pool and a plot large enough for a garden. The main addresses are Polop Hills, Alberca and the newer PAU 1 and Novapolop developments.
This is a buy for people who want a house rather than an apartment, and who value a view over walking distance to sand. Alicante–Elche airport is about 55 minutes, and Benidorm supplies hospitals, international schools and shopping year-round.
